I kind of give them a pass on the whole Vegas thing. The first 4 shows they played before Travis got hurt they played Mutt, Adam's Song, The Party Song, Wendy Clear, HISALP, California, Parking Lot and Wasting Time. Had a 3 song acoustic set in the middle of the show. No one could really complain about those set lists. Then Travis got hurt and they didn't play another show for 4 months. They ended up playing the usual greatest hit set mixed with some deep cuts like Obvious and Don't Leave Me and unfortunately took away the acoustic set.

I do believe that if Travis didn't get hurt they would have busted out more deeper cuts during those shows they ended up cancelling.

The acoustic set break down should be an every show thing. Throw three songs into that and not strain your voice you’ve got a 26 song setlist easy while having a slight “break”.

As far as I know, Sugarcult last played together for the Start Static 10-year anniversary show I went to... 8 years ago

Completely agree. Let Mark and Matt play 3 songs and once they're done have Travis bang out a drum solo then come out for a 3 song encore and call it a night.

OK, then they floated the idea of doing club shows and playing all of California. They said they'd reschedule shows, then cancelled on THOSE. We don't need to keep making excuses for bands who promise stuff then don't follow through. I don't get angry about it, I just remain skeptical until stuff actually happens.

I agree that they have made a lot of promises in the past (both with and without Tom in the band) but I can't fault them when a band member gets hurt and plans have to change.

But I can see how people would be burnt by promises they made in the past not to give them a pass.

Plus the club shows as cool as they would be we’re never guaranteed, I think that was just an idea thy considered

Yeah I remember hearing about the idea but don't remember them ever actually saying "we're going to do these club shows and play California front to back".

The club shows was in some random interview with I don't even remember who, and I don't think many people in here even took that seriously. Which yes is probably due to Mark being the least spontaneous guy ever when it comes to his shows lol

The first Vegas weekend setlist was pretty great and Travis being out for awhile definitely affected what they were doing there

Wonder if Feldmann is pacing back and forth in the dark consistently refreshing IG on his phone looking at all of these blink posts of them working with other producers and saying to himself over and over "I love my life".

Shit if they're gonna delay the release of the album to work on some tunes with The Neptunes I'm totally cool with that

Totally cool with them delaying the release. I’m a patient boy.

Would love some new tunes when they announce this summer tour though. Need SOME variety in the setlist even if it’s just a new single.

Also, I’m wondering if this tour is going to be a late summer early fall tour. It’s getting late to announce anything in early summer, right?
