Anybody have a guess when new album is coming out? 2018/2019??

  3. 2019

A new album would be cool, but I’m more interested to see what their setlist(s) are gonna be next month for their Vegas residency.

Hope it's when Tom rejoins and they're a real band again

Lol the only interest Tom has in blink is dropping their name to get people to throw cash into his money pit

And seriously doubt 2018 at this point if there's no mention of recording yet since Mark wants to take more time on it. And hopefully Dan's reason for being in southern Cali is to do a Trio record

Yeah at this point we're probably looking at a spring 2019 release and another big summer tour, which is fine with me.

Def 2019 spring/summer. Kinda more excited for new AVA too. Last few EPs were great in my opinion. TDW was a great album too and departure from the Love sound

Honestly me too. I think songs like Overload, Tunnels and Mercenaries are better than anything from California. Really want AVA to finally tour again so I can hear them live.

I guess in my mind, those could be killer blink songs. I think when you take some of Tom's best stuff and let Travis and Mark have a say, we'd get such a cool and new sound for them. Then again, that's probably part of the problem.

Yea really would love to see AVA again. I saw their first NYC show before WDNTW even came out and that was awesome. Then I saw them again in like 2006 with TBS. So yea its going on a dozen years now.

Nothing beats Tom, Mark and Travis being motivated and working together. It's just too bad that hasn't happened since 2003.

    Here for the AVA positivity.

The Dreamwalker is so good. Ilan Rubin gave Tom the kick in the pants he needed creatively.

At Bowery Ballroom? I was there too! And then a couple months later saw them at Nassau Coliseum with TBS. Both were amazing shows.

Saw them on the LOVE Pt. 1 tour and it was actually pretty amazing/inspiring.

I think Tom taking a break from music is going to prove to be worthwhile, definitely anticipating the Strange Times record.

That tour and the TBS/Head Automatica tour were night and day. I swear to god that Tom sang in key on the LOVE tour and the energy of the crowd was undeniable.

    Things have changed.

Well he was using a ton of live vocal tuning on the TBS tour. Even then, he was singing so poorly that it didn't really help that much.

Not to ruin the AVA positivity, but I have no confidence Tom is going to release a Strange Times full album. I’m guessing, per usual, a 4-5 song EP to coincide with the movie, book, or whatever he’s gonna release.

Well yes that's a given, I just would not get excited for an album when it'll probably be an EP. I will gladly be wrong!
