I wish I knew more, but he’s obviously entitled to all the privacy he wants. Poor guy has probably been stressed out all day.

 

For what it's worth, my father beat stage four throat cancer. So everyone who his battling the big C word will always have hope in my eyes.

This has hit me like a tonne of bricks.

 

I can’t stop thinking about him. I’ve been wanting to go on a walk and blast some Blink in my headphones but honestly, I think it’d bum me out even more. I’m trying to stay level headed and not be too assuming or jump to any conclusions until we get more info, but man, it’s been hard.

 

The admission that he's scared has honestly fucked me up :(

This is devastating, and honestly I’m speechless. Fuck cancer. Mark will pull through this.

Admired that bit of honesty. I spent 4 years with my Mom and her cancer. I don't have much to say except you live with it one day at a time, get use to it but hope you beat it and that's all you can do.

 

I’m sure he was quick to reach out to Tom since he has also had his own scares with cancer.

 

Not sure how you couldn’t be scared when you have cancer.

 

He’ll kick its ass.

 

This news sucks. A friend of mine is also battling cancer (but is almost done with their treatments!) and was really upset when they heard the news today.

Based on what Mark said, it seems like he's got a long road ahead of him, even after going through chemo the last three months, which is rough on its own.
