I still get The First Time stuck in my head pretty regularly and have not listened to it in months, haha.

 

Ya. This record rules. They nailed it. A damn shame they weren’t able to tour it.

 

When Darkside came out I would've prob been content if it was the best song on the album but all of these topped it.

That lead guitar in “On Some Emo Shit” right after the bridge is still the best part musically (for me) on the album. The whole album is great though. Time to give it a listen.

 

I couldn’t buy Nine the day it came out because I was doing wedding rehearsal stuff all day. So I got it on the morning of the 21st, before I drove up to my wedding venue to get married. Haha.

 

Given that most of the songs on the album just feel like break up songs, I feel like that may have been a weird listen. Haha

Album is still great. A regular listen for me.

 

Nine is my favorite thing they’ve done since Untitled for sure. DED has a couple of great songs, same with Neighbs, but as a whole Nine really nailed it.

 

It's been forever since I listened to this in full. Might have to spin my vinyl tonight.
Least favorites are Run Away and Happy Days.
Favorites are probably Heaven, On Some Emo Shit and No Heart to Speak of.

 

I still put this on every so often (including yesterday just by coincidence) and still love the whole thing. I'm glad it has stood the test of time at least a year out because a lot of people were convinced we were just overly excited about new music and giving it too much praise... I still hold it way above everything else post-Untitled.

 

Yeah it’s insane to me just how fresh Nine still sounds.

BIOMY was my most played song in 2019. I remember the album being number 3 on my most played list following directly behind the new Bad Religion and Bad Suns albums in ‘19.

 

Nine is really consistent. Does suffer from high and low points on the album for me.

 

Listening through now. BIOMY is still a great song, but the guitars feel kinda lifeless in the chorus. Also the mixing on Generational Divide is odd. Starts off great, but then when Skiba's voice comes in everything gets quieter and his vocals are way too loud. Also wish they just didn't include Run Away on the final tracklisting. Feels like a b-side.

The back half of this album is so damn strong though. Black Rain to Remember to Forget Me is a hell of a stretch!

Yeah, it's great quality. I got one and gave it to my little brother. I still need to order myself one! But yeah, it's good quality, for sure.

Safe to say that this inevitably came true. And I still absolutely love this album. Definitely my favorite thing they've done since Untitled.

Whoa, I love those army green shirts. I still an unused BCR sticker of just the silhouette runner guy from when they toured. Its like 3-4 inches tall. I may need to find a good spot for it.

 

I am in no position to be spending more money, and I am in no need of new clothes. But damn I really want that hoodie and army green tee!

It took a few weeks cuz I ordered it pretty close to when the world was shutting down, which made mail slow. So I’m not sure what it’s normally like.
