Also, not that it matters, but Mark is singing on the X collab, and it sounds like Travis is playing drums. There is a guitar-solo type thing, but it doesn't sound like Matt.

Needless to say, I won't keep it in rotation, but I listened to a rip online just to see how involved blink were.

 

It baffles me that people will sit and defend this land when so many other bands and musicians exist who are in no way problematic. Instead of devoting all your energy on defending them or figuring out ways to continue supporting them despite things like this, maybe use some of that energy to support those bands who are not problematic. I’m not speaking to anyone specifically, just in general.

 

Scott Raynor is in this.

so this is three collabs in a row billed as blink-182, but only featuring Mark and Travis. Pretty interesting honestly.

Maybe it’s become more effective marketing to say featuring Blink 182 instead of their individual names. The Steve Aoki one had Matt and Mark doing vocals and Travis is there in the video drumming away. That was out just a couple months before Nine.

 

Yeah didn't really mind for much of anything since 2009.... this just puts the final nail in the coffin for me. Finally saw them for free on the last tour, didn't even stay for the entire show. Thanks for the memories, but Blink is done for me, personally.

Just because Matt doesn’t sing in these collabs doesn’t mean he wasn’t involved.

 

Yeah I'm not saying it's a fact that only the two of them were involved with the there songs, but none of the three have Matt vocals so it's interesting

 

I mean I think if someone is trying to get a blink-182 feature they don’t have Matt Skiba in mind

 

My guess is just that Matt just doesn't care if the other two go off and collaborate using the band name

 

Or no one wants an Alk3 collab., they want the most known members.

 

Just a general PSA because someone is going to do it: do not post the xxxtentacion song in this thread.

 

Viking Wizard Eyes LLC is the name of blink as a corporation right? I believe it’s just Mark and Travis listed as owners.

Since someone brought him up earlier, does Scott Raynor still make music? What is he up to these days? Does he have a normal job now?

 

He plays drums in The Wraith. I’m sure he must have another job because the band is pretty quiet and seems to only play in LA.

 

No credit in the other two either
