Seriously with the mean comments about this kid?

The song was fine, nothing to write home about but not horrible. At the very least, the kid got to play out a dream here so thats awesome for him.

Compare this song to a song like "I really wish I hated you" and i'm not seeing a huge difference?

 

Loved that clip.

 

After watching the vid, that song grew a bit on me. Idk if it's anything I'll listen to regularly but also in the camp that thinks good for the kid getting to do a song with blink.

At worst if I don't like a collab, I just say "eh if it gets anybody into blink, cool" and don't listen lol

I know I haven't listened to that Aoki song since the weeks it came out. This is prob on that level for me.

At the end of I Really Wish I Hated You i thought it was mark that vulnerably sings/talks/quivers "Won't You Say Something." I was so proud of him, like man I've never heard Mark step out of his comfort zone like that before--kinda like Tom in Lifeline...Now I find out it was Matt...

Has this ever been talked about with the 182 origin? I don't think they added 182 till around 94 right ?

Mark posted a link to a song featuring X (not the song blink apparently did with him). Really disappointing that Mark is so tone deaf about this. I hope he has an explanation as to why the band decided to do a song with him although it really is indefensible.

 

I just got around to hearing that Goody Grace song people were talking shit about in here bracing for the worst and... I don't understand the hate? Better than some of the songs on Nine. I like his voice. Nothing I'll ever return to, but man, that was really blown out of proportion

 

What sample did theX featured song use? I don’t hear it. Sounds like a typical Cali riff from Matt but can’t technically place it.

 

The chorus melody is the same as I Miss You

 

Wow. Took me way too long to hear the “voices in my head.” I think I’ve reached the point of old age where: “everything sounds the same and I can’t hear what they’re saying.”

Apart from “voices in my head” I literally couldn’t understand a word. Slap some trap drum beat bass/snare with high hat override, throw a simple beat on it and talk nonsense that rhymes. Holy hell cant believe this is music.

Gave both Scumbag and voices a listen... Nothing special and won't be returning to listen to.

 

For all of October:

 

I'll be interested to see Hawthorne Heights when I go to the New Found Glory show on Friday. I like "Bring You Back" from Skeletons. Don't know a whole lot of their other stuff though outside their popular songs.

 

Paramore Self-Titled! Probably my favorite of theirs. I need to listen to that soon!
