At this point I don’t want Tom back. If.IF. He did come back and blink was his priority, id want them to be a 4 piece with Skiba. But between one or the other, viva la Skiba

I’ll never get tired of saying this. But in the context of blink, FUCK TOM.

There are people so trapped in the past/nostalgia they actually think Tom has anything positive to add to blink. It is an absolute fantasy. I wish people would keep their delusions to themselves.

If they're going to cash in on nostalgia they absolutely should do it with Tom

If they're going to continue they're career and make new music etc then Skiba

After seeing his recent performance with AvA a week and a half ago.....Its clear he belongs in AvA full-time. He was so happy, telling stories, sipping whiskey, performing decently well with a band that was on point/also happy, and just doing the damn thing. AvA just suits him now.

NINE also made me realize blink no longer needs Tom. They finally re-defined themselves with NINE and Matt. They practically made me forget about Tom in blink with the release of NINE. Its a fantastic thing. Its kinda like closure for me haha. Thats a silly thing to say, but NINE is so good it made me feel okay to let go of what could've been with Tom.

I'm super grateful we still get music from blink and Tom/AvA. I'm more excited about it now than I was almost 10 years ago.

I too am on team Skiba for blink and Tom still doing his thing with AvA. Musically, this is the best (by far) that both bands have sounded in ages.

This is unrealistic and purely out of nostalgia, but I would still love it if Tom ever sat himself down and collaborated properly with Mark and Travis and a producer to give us a fully-realized "reunion" album that we didn't get with Neighborhoods. However, even if that DID happen, we would not be getting the output and the activity we are with blink that we have been for the last four years.

So it would still be a give and take. I would never in a million years want the blink from the Neighborhoods era that were barely even a band.

I think it’s inevitable that Tom comes back at some point. Not sure in what capacity it will be but I’d be surprised if we don’t get a few more albums/tours from the golden era lineup. As for Matt, I think they’d offer for him to stay but he’d decline and go back to Alk3 and solo stuff full time. But I think we have at least 1 or 2 more albums with Matt before Tom comes back for real.

The next time we see Tom with blink will be at the HOF induction ceremony, whenever that may be.

I can't see Tom ever coming back. Mark doesn't want to work with him, period

i couldn't see tom getting fired either. a lot of things can happen in a few years. but generally i think this kind of speculation is pointless

    Ronstile.

No thoughts with the context of NINE being out long enough to not be brand new and Tom happily bringing AVA back into the fold full time after this tour?

That's not even true. Marks said quite a few times recently that's it's not off the table.

Just want to be the first to predict Tom comes back in some capacity in 2022 for the 30th anniversary of the band.

If he made a guest appearance two albums after Nine doing lead guitar and splitting vocals with Mark, and Matt doing backing vocals but very present, I think that would be cool.

I like when Mark appeared on Box Car Racer , but an appearance can be just that.

  22. If Blink ever gets into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I'd expect Tom to be there and perform with Mark and Travis. Maybe some shows after that, but I can't imagine Blink creatively working with Tom again.

Lol I would love to see a song by Blink-182 (feat. Tom DeLonge)

To be fair, even if he didn’t ever want to work with Tom in any capacity ever again, Mark doesn’t seem like the type who would ever flat out say it. I don’t think us fans have any idea what Mark really feels.
