Matchbox 20 (Matchbox Twenty? matchbox twenty?) have no room to get mad, having changed how they stylized their name like (Matchbox) 20 times.

I'd take BCR over +44 any day.

Honestly though, the nostalgia factor is probably what keeps me going back to BCR more, but yeah, I never got super into +44 or AVA. I've seen them both live a couple times, I've met both bands a couple times, but I rarely listened to them even when they were new. I think I was probably just salty about Blink breaking up though, ha.

 

I remember gearing up for Neighborhoods release and playing +44 and BCR on repeat. I’d put them level with each other. Some great songs on both.

BCR has some solid songs, but I wouldn't even say half of it is noteworthy. Loved it when I first got into it though. Really loved Elevator and There Is.

Every song on +44 is gold, I absolutely love Lycanthrope

 

i can't believe from hearing this EP, Nine coming out and everything else in between that this EP still hasn't officially released yet lol

 

I already don’t listen to it a lot anymore and I really like it!

 

i kinda left it behind since Nine dropped too but i gotta' bring Nevermind back into my circulation again, that songs so good

 

Both records are fine.

 

2nd week for Nine was #45 with just under 12 k

Based on just actual album sales, from #2 to #23

 

The dreariness lyrically of this has taken a bit of a toll on me. Still a solid album, though.

I've never been able to get into the full +44 album, just select songs really

 

Richard Butler and the Psych Furs always get me, as its a high school thing for me in the late 80s.

 

Yeah I’m sorry brad, I like BCR a lot, but +44 is much much better. That’s peak Mark there.
