The past few days IRWIHY has been stuck in my head. This song is hit or miss for a lot of people but man I love it!

 

Loved when he was talking about Mark and Travis in one of the videos. Saying Mark was his favorite lyricist I think it was.

 

Listened to Dogs Eating Dogs on my commute this morning.

I really like Tom's vocals on Disaster. The bridge though.. has it even been THAT obvious that someone copy/pasted a section of a song in Pro Tools?

I'm just happy I have DED in my record collection now. Its an unofficial pressing, of course, but it felt too weird not having their whole discography in my collecsh. Sometimes you gotta take the matter into your own hands, even if it costs more than a normal record... haha.

i don't know if i'd put it as a top 5 or even top 10 but when thinking about what songs i really, really love from Neighborhoods, GOTDF might be the only one. really like a lot of that record, love parts of a lot of songs, but GOTDF tops it all for me.

 

Might need some pics of that sweet collecsh. Well, I'm mostly curious to see how DED looks!

 

Sweet! How is the sound?

 

I'd say the sound is around an 8.5 out of 10. It doesn't sound any worse than a Hot Topic re-release. Actually, it sounds better than my Hot Topic pressing of Box Car Racer's album, haha.

 

Any (snap) crackles or pops?

 

Not on mine! Yesterday I was listening to it and I noticed that "Pretty Little Girl" was sounding weird, and it bummed me out, but then I discovered I had a big dust ball on my needle. When I took that off, it sounded normal again, haha. Phew!

I like the look of the record itself! Very cool! I couldn't decide if I wanted the artwork to just be plain white like the original art, or if I wanted to add some "dirty" texture to it to make it a little less bland. The few of us that ordered decided to go with the textured artwork in the end. I'm happy we did!

 

Blame it on my youth is currently playing in the grocery store

 

On the charts they post every Tuesday on the billboard website, it was 36.
Rebel Girl was 35.

 

It’s at “32,” Rebel Girl is “34.” (“People” is between them at 33.)

 

I'm happy all three are climbing!

 

I also wish I could check daily on these things. I don't know why but I've always loved tracking the charts.
