Same, it made me like it more after seeing it live, but I wouldn't even put "Los Angeles" in my top 10 songs from California. So like, if I never saw it live again, I wouldn't even bat an eye.

 

10 California songs I am ok being in the setlist:

10. Rabbit Hole

No particular order

 

I kinda hate SOOHM live. Love Sober, Bored To Death, Cynical, Los Angeles, San Diego. And I'm sure I'd love Left Alone too lol

 

I don't mind them playing the same set all tour long, it makes sense. This is an arena band with a huge light and stage production that they have to specifically rehearse to. A tiny portion of fans go to shows multiple nights in a row so they shouldn't cater to them. What I DO have a problem with is when they don't switch the setlist up between tours

TLDR: it's ok to play the same set all tour. lame to play the same set every tour

 

Songs I wish they'd add to the set:

Whatever they feel like playing because IDC

 

Left Alone would be huge live. I hope it happens someday.

same with Rabbit Hole. that song would ruuuuule live! and would make up for them not playing fast Dude Ranch stuff.

I guarantee the reason why they don't do Rabbit Hole live is because Mark can't sing it. Anything on the album with him yell singing is definitely pitch corrected. Here's him trying to pull off Adam's Song when I saw them in 2009:

and then Reddit ruined everything by tweeting the guys saying how much that song sucks, when it actually does not suck at all. sigh...

 

Probably ixnayed that idea as soon as the early reaction from reddit was collectively shitting on it.

If reddit mattered at all they would've begged Tom to come back and Feldmann wouldn't be producing the next album. Reddit doesn't influence a single decision blink makes cmon lol
