I think the last time I heard that line spoken out loud was by Darla on The Little Rascals in 1994.

 

I kinda hate the sequencing of it. On my second listen, i'm still feeling the effect of knowing four of the top 6 and almost none of the remainder. It's almost like "yeah yeah i know blaming it on your youth, got it, gimme more black raaaaaain"

It's 100% my fault for jamming to the singles too much but still haha

 

That lyric is goofy but that song is an early favorite of mine. It vaguely reminds me of "Left Alone" and a little bit of "San Diego" which were like my two favorites from the last record.

 

Haha. Me either. There's also these random moments where they choose to sing broken English like, " I ain't got no reason.." and " it don't matter.." or stuff like that.

 

I too was at the AvA show last night. It was so good. They sounded amazing.

I'm on my first listen of Nine, but I think this is the album I needed right now.

As a Skiba fanatic... this is hitting me in all the right spots.

Back half of this album kills. Only one listen down, but wow, what a huge turn-around from California (which, tbh, I still like but is a very middle-of-the-road album).

 

Did not catch that! Haha. Now I can't un-hear it. Thank you. Seriously.

 

Got this on my phone so all of the tracks are out of order (still trying to match the tracks to the titles haha). It's going to be interesting when I hear the correct sequencing. I'll finally know what people mean when they say the back half is better.

 

I deleted the leak off my phone, I did one listen and now I'll wait until next Friday.

 

Got to let recency flow out- but this is most certainly my favorite record since untitled. Time will tell if it's fully better. But this is EXACTLY what I wanted out of Blink with Matt.

 

So much hype I ALMOST listened to the leak. But it wouldn’t work on my phone and I take that as a sign to just wait for my preorder

 

Legitimately shocked how much I like this.

 

Heaven needs to be a single.

 

Def my least favorite on the album. I think Happy Days is much better in context too.

this albums absolutely fantastic, on some emo shit is my favorite on first listen but i also love, heaven,black rain, happy days, no heart to speak of. Ransom was a cool short little song, almost wanted it to be longer haha.

Really don't dislike any songs though, and i think this is WAY better than california... like its not even close.

 

I can't believe there's still over 35 songs from these sessions that we haven't heard....

Honestly, I don’t want to hear them. California Deluxe diminished my experience with California.

 

I would like to agree that this is my favorite since untitled as well.

 

I would hear those 35 songs out of curiosity but given how they described them I doubt I would enjoy them.

Also, I hope the album sells. The singles haven’t really made a splash. What releases on the same day?

I've been rolling my eyes at all the love Blink 182 gets for about 20 years (and I'm a fan of the band) but found this record to be enjoyable. Definitely something there for everyone.
