Blink-182 – “You Don’t Know What You’ve Got”

This is a really great song!

 

I think this is right up there alongside “One More Time” for me. So excited for this album!

 

thought this was ‘Bored To Death’ with that intro and verses haha

 

Great song especially with the history. Album is shaping up to be incredible.

 

I’m a really casual fan of this band, so maybe hardcore fans will disagree with me, but I really haven’t found anything from this album to be all that interesting or original so far. I probably like this one the most so far. I’ve always been a sucker from Mark’s really deep vocals.

 

You haven’t listened to More Than You Know yet or…?

 

Oof. This song stinks. I’ve enjoyed the rest, but this one does nothing for me.

You’re right, that one’s good too, but it doesn’t do anything to break the mold or evolve their sound.

They’ve got marks voice sounding like Jerry Finn is at the helm

hell, Tom sounds like Toyp here too.

edit: this is classic yet contemporary blink. Might be my favorite so far.

One of the best on the album. Mark's verses are top tier.

 

Or people have their own opinions and like them. Subjectivity is a wonderful thing.

 

If this was a new band releasing these songs I probably wouldn’t even listen but with Tom back and the dudes being happy together I think we’re all just excited to hear new stuff and thankful we even get it at all.

This album probably won’t win a Grammy but will definitely be the “most played” by a lot of us this year

To each their own though, maybe the album will have some deep cuts you dig!
