Really anticipating this album! I can't wait to here Skiba's & Hoppus's vocals together, while Barker is killing every beat.

Did it really happen all that fast, though? Tom and blink parted ways in January 2015, and now we're gonna hear a new song in May, 2016. Considering they got Skiba in really quickly, it seems like they just took a while - at least to me. I'm looking at it as a band that isn't touring as well... I dunno. No worries, I'm stoked to hear it.

 

They had a lot of legal things to go through before this could happen. They needed to get the name of the band since Tom owned part of it. They also had to write an album and make sure Matt would want to permanently join the band. They apparently scrapped 16 songs they wrote before they wrote what is the album (and then some). I'd rather have a band take their time and put out something of quality. In retrospect - this album got recorded rather quickly and if Tom were still in the band we wouldn't be having this discussion ever.

 

It feels so good to be excited about this band again.

I remember when Matt was picked to take over for Tom, I thought we'd get a few live shows and maybe a couple singles. I never thought a CD would actually happen. I'm so excited for this!

I never thought I would be this amped for a blink 182 release in 2016.

Tom no longer owns Macbeth. He sold that to Saban back in either 2013 or 2014.

 

I think you're right. I feel like the Atticus shirt was more of a staple so I went with that lol.
