i don't listen to this specific kind of post hardcore? at all but i checked it out of curiosity and i genuinely like it. it sounds like 2008 to me.
i'll lose my fucking mind if i get to see DD,G live. i haven't been to a show since 2019 but i'll make plans for that one.
Did two listens since I had the time, pretty much what I wanted and expected from them being back. I only listened to it once when it was released as a single but Fell So Hard, Felt So Right is super great. Venom's a fun non-single one, same with the title track. Y.S.A.B. standing for You're Still a Bitch is...a choice, it's 2025 and these guys are definitely in their like late 30s - early 40s or so lol Nothing on here I dislike though, I'll have to sit with it more but I could see it placing above To Those Left Behind at least for me
Yea after a first listen i was pretty pleased with this. It’s still largely very similar music, albeit a bit catchier than the most recent stuff, so I think them taking a step back helped avoid fatigue.
very happy with this. band means a lot to me (if you couldn't tell by the username). nice to see the boys having fun and writing great songs again. can't wait to see them at warped. hell yeah brother.
I'm pretty sure this is their best album since Hollow Bodies, which feels kind of shocking to say considering how long its been. I'm glad they didn't try to overthink this - it's just a really fucking good blessthefall album, which is exactly what I would want from them.
Solid album, these guys don't miss. I'd still say Witness is their best though. That album feels a lot more musically diverse than an album like this. More unique riffs.
Yea this is really hitting, I love it. The bridge riff in fell so hard is one of my favorite musical moments of the year so far, a good throwback to early-mid 00s metalcore.
Yea I've been going back to it a ton over the past week, I'm super happy it turned out so well. It's like they never really left.
what a show! I missed colorblind but I made it in time for dark divine , it was my first time seeing them and they really good. Got that INK/MIW Spookycore vibe. Really got the crowd going! Next up was drop dead gorgeous , they crushed it like they were never gone. Not sure if the bassist & guitarist are OG but I recognized both Danny’s \m/ The band we all came to see, BTF! Same as DD,G it felt like they never left. They played songs from every album and just high energy all night. Beau thanks the crowd for being there instead of another show that he heard of, He was referring to riot Fest lol He was like all the hard-core fans are here tonight. Mentioned MySpace twice and just seemed like he was having a blast. Brought up old venues in Chicago but mentioned HOB was one of his favorites. All in all I had a blast , I’m glad I went! Picked up some physical copies at merch BTF4EVR
Really wish the Chicago show was Thursday or next week. Not during riot fest. Missed it cuz I was at riot
it was my first time seeing them and they played a solid set for being direct support, even songs off their EP which i was surprised, this was our set. Drop Dead, Gorgeous Concert Setlist at House of Blues, Chicago on September 19, 2025 | setlist.fm
i was glad it was during riot fest so it wasn't so crowded, that floor can get pretty tight when a show is sold out or close to haha, it was breathable and easy to move around. without saying riot fest, beau mentioned by saying "thanks for coming out to our show tonight, you guys are the hardcore fans, there was another show i heard of this weekend.. it had a bunch of pop punk bands on it or something" that got a good laugh from the crowd
