Only 10 songs and with one of them having been released over 2 years ago by the time the album is out is a little disappointing but otherwise woo nice. Getting Story of the Year as a guest is cool!
This is fantastic news. Loved their last full length but I'm assuming this will be in the heavier direction
Wake The Dead was the best thing they’ve released in a LONG while IMO but that was two years ago so we’ll see how this album sounds lol
right let's kick this shit off the right way 1) awakening 2) to those left behind 3) hollow bodies 4) hard feelings 5) witness 6) his last walk
Witness Awakening Hollow Bodies His Last Walk Hard Feelings To Those Left Behind Honestly Witness at #1 is really my only definitive placement, the rest can move around a bit here and there
Witness is the only record of theirs I return to. It’s held up incredibly well given the genre/time it came out in.
My list is just the reverse of the releases but even the more recent ones have always had at least a couple songs I really like. His Last Walk is/was definitely one of my favorites from that time. Bummed me out I never got to see em with Craig and that the band immediately stopped playing any of those songs when he left.
yeah they used to be very consistent, honestly every album in my top 4 has at one point been my favorite blessthefall album
i prefer their later stuff even though i enjoy it all. 1) hard feelings 2) to those left behind 3) witness 4) hollow bodies 5) awakening 6) his last walk (I've never listened to this on the fact that i have never like Mraig Cabbitt's vocals)
vinyl listings are appearing now. seems like it's almost announcement time. BLESSTHEFALL - GALLOWS [SMOKE VINYL 2LP] PREORDER
mallxcore is literally a banger. I loved the official music video too, very funny and good to see them not taking themselves too seriously. Also side note - I watched their full Warped Tour performance, and they are TIGHT live.
Witness Hollow Bodies Hard Feelings His Last Walk Awakening To Those Left Behind I can't speak for what their setlist is like now but they did play Guys Like You every single time I saw them live with Beau. Granted, the last time I saw them for a full set was Warped 2013, I only managed to catch their last two songs at Warped 2015 so I don't know if they played it that time or not.
I've been listening To Those Left Behind lately. I think I briefly listened to it when it came out and wrote it off as generic but it's actually pretty good. I do think it kind of suffers from a lot of the songs blending together but there are some big hooks and solid guitar riffs. I'd put it above HLW and Awakening for sure.
