Oh my God I just got details about that P Daddy show. It's at Metal Frat in Ann Arbor and starts at 11. It's going to be bananas GO GO GO GO GO.

 

Drove about 5 hours to Michigan earlier, now just chilling in a hotel with the fam playing Magic the Gathering, life is good

Just got back! I had a good time - Basement and Andrea Gibson were notably really good sets.

 

I have retired from stagediving after last nights Norma Jean set. Have never went harder at a show in my life.

Joyce Manor was good, Basement was good too (saw them play the same set to like 50 kids the night before in Columbus), ‘68 was fun. Caught some of Foxing, Mothers and Kississippi too. Andrea Gibson was a great surprise and I’m glad I watched the entire set. Mom Jeans has the largest crowd of the day which I don’t entirely get.

Foxing was mind blowing good yesterday. They went on 20 mins late but definitely made up for it

Joyce is always the best. Everything else was fine

Probably won’t go next year, think I’m getting over it and I’m starting to feel old there. Will have to be someone like Menzingers, Pup etc to get me to go which I guess is highly possible

 

Loved the switch to one main stage by the way. I hope that's a permanent addition from now on.

I might post my thoughts on this later, but for now I'll just say I had a goddamn blast at this and it was well worth the 10+ hour total drive time.
