And with Petal I'm sold. I was really hoping they'd be on the lineup. This'll be my first time at Bled Fest, and it looks like I picked a great year to start. Already a really cool lineup and there's still so much more to add.
More than half of the acts now have at least one member in them that is non-white, non-CIS and/or non-male. That's so awesome to see.
Only other time I've heard of them was when they toured with The Front Bottoms on a tour I couldn't go to so I didn't listen.
For anyone interested, this is how the lineup is tiered from top to bottom so far. I have a feeling everything from La Dispute to Petal will be Main Stage. La Dispute PWR BTTM The Fall of Troy The Flatliners Diet Cig Pet Symmetry Petal Meat Wave Chris Farren Slingshot Dakota Alcoa The Cardboard Swords Stefanie Haapala Jahshua Smith & the Race Card
Damn this fest is looking to be something else. I won't be doing a 12 hour drive for it, but still really awesome. PWR BTTM over The Fall of Troy is too funny though
Update: Alex G, Sorority Noise, Nothing and Cloakroom are all playing Patchwork earlier in May, so they're out for Bled Fest. Pinegrove is playing a festival in the UK the same weekend, so they're out as well.
good thing nothing isn't doing it, that'd really invalidate all of progressive work they would have been trying to do
I mean yeah but it's just funny to see a band that played basements less than a year ago playing over TFoT
it's called having a relevant message in 2017. i truly think pwr bttm is one of the five to ten most important bands alive right now
I'll have to check them out, I've heard good things. Tried listening to Meat Wave again and can't get into it
