I'm fucking stoked for Flatliners their set in 2014 was so good and they're one of my favorite bands. Hope their new album is out by then I'm 200% sold on this lineup already. Feels good
Really cool that they stuck to their guns about increasing diversity this year. Wish I could make it out that way.
Announced so far: La Dispute (playing "Wildlife" in full & more) PWR BTTM The Fall of Troy (playing "Manipulator" in full) The Flatliners Pet Symmetry Chris Farren Slingshot Dakota Alcoa The Cardboard Swords Stefanie Haapala 62 more left to announce. Pretty darn happy w/ how this year turned out. What do you guys think so far?
They pulled me in with The Fall Of Troy and La Dispute, but everything else has left me saying, "ok, maybe tomorrow I'll find someone to get excited about".
The Fall Of Troy playing my favorite album from them, PWR BTTM, and The Flatliners are probably my favorite announcements so far.
Damn PWR BTTM and The Flatliners really making me consider getting a ticket. I'm hoping they get Julien Baker then I'm sold
So excited for the local roster too on March 1st. Michigan has such a great up-and-coming music scene.
Petal was the one I was looking forward to. I really hope there's some good stuff coming that'll really make me want to go.
Wish I could make it out to this but I don't think I can. This is such a diverse lineup celebrating music made by diverse people (POC, women, LQBTQ+) and I wish that I was able to make it out and support this festival. If any of you can make it, I encourage you to go, and hopefully this is the start of more festivals / tours / bands working harder to celebrate diversity and giving a platform to these groups.
Just noticed that La Dispute will be playing Wildlife and some more songs. Looks like The Fall of Troy are just doing Manipulator.
La Dispute will probably have an hour and 15 and close out the night. Whereas Fall Of Troy will probably have 50 minutes or so.
