yeah but those are still bands within the RFC, no sleep, topshelf, etc scene. a lot of the booking done for these things is done through specific agents and labels, i bet a bunch of greg horbal's bands will be on here, for example

 

Modern Baseball, Mitski, Car Seat Headrest, PUP and The Hotelier are all playing Boston Calling the same weekend. More than likely, they all probably won't play.

 

Was hoping for PUP and The Hotelier finally. That's a bummer

I wouldn't think Mitski or MoBo would play anyway

 

Yeah, MoBo is kind of a stretch at this point. Even in 2015, their crowd was almost too big to enjoy the set.

 

Free Ticket February starts in a few days.

 

So damn excited for this to start.

 

Also very excited I have absolutely no clues on who could be playing at all

 

Hopefully it's better than last year.

 

Last year really wasn't that great. I still had a good time though

 

Last year lineup was my least favorite of the three years I have gone. I already got tickets for this year but if the lineup isn't good, I'll do my own "Free Ticket February".

 

Last year was alright, just a little samey. I'm really, really excited for bands to start rolling out.

 

#FreeTicketFebruary begins on Wednesday! As a reminder, we host a guessing game on one of our social media accounts, and the first to guess the band we're announcing that day wins a free ticket to BLED FEST!

In a change from past years, tickets will go on-sale on February 1 at 10am, so once we announce your favorite band, you don't have to wait to get tickets! VIP packages have been posted as well! We don't have the shirt designs quite ready to go, but it'll be some version of the branding you're seeing all over our stuff this year.

A couple of helpful hints for Free Ticket February.

1. Subscribe to Fusion Shows and Bled Fest's social media for the month of February - FB and Twitter is where they post hints, and you can get texts when they do the game during the day.

2. Follow Fusion Shows' website. Sometimes clues correlate to when bands pass through Michigan - that's how I guessed Menzingers correctly in 2013.

First clue: A band that's never played Bled Fest, playing an album in full.

 

Consider me intrigued.

 

For them to be charging $42 after fees this year, this lineup better blow every previous year's out of the water.

Not really my thing, but glad for people that really like them.

Tickets are available to buy starting today. Haven't bought mine yet, because that price is outrageous for this without knowing who all is playing.

TFOT is a good start for sure.
