His new album is great! Falls off slightly towards the end but its really ambitious and the highs are tremendous. This is a pretty good example of the Bruce/E-Street Band influence, (especially the sax towards the end).
I really hope this Superjam is eventually available to view, could be amazing https://www.instagram.com/bonnaroo/p/CYmVwvvIMZa/?utm_medium=copy_link
Release a single version of it with good production so it doesn't sound like shit on my playlists when it plays
Forgot it was coming back so soon! Also, Jack probably has had so much free time on his hands, with tons of demos left over from this album release, that he's probably well along on the next album already
Looks like Mikey and Mike (guitar and drums) from Bleachers have COVID so they won't be playing tonight. In their place are claud, Blu DeTiger, Jack's dad and someone named Joey
Wow that version of Chinatown sounded amazing. SNL usually sounds like Shit too no matter how good the band is so that’s impressive. Thought I was kinda waiting for Bruce to come out; maybe if it was non Covid times.
Thought sound was way better than most SNL performances I’ve seen, but haven’t watched too many this year so not sure if they’ve just gotten better in general. Ready for Chinatown to be relegated to old single status, though. It’s just an ok song. To its credit it really holds up fine without Bruce, just never been one of my faves either way.
Uh wait, do they mean Grand Lodge in Forest Grove, Oregon (not Washington)? Because that's a small town near where I grew up. Literally never had someone as big as Bleachers out there, but I'm here for it
