I’m happy I got a ticket to this bleachers show next week cuz it sold out fast plus was only 24.30 one of my cheapest tickets to a show in a long while

 

I was on the fence about expectations for this record, but the listening party I went to earlier has me a lot more excited/optimistic

 

I heard the whole thing is very mellow.

 

This is out Friday?! That's so exciting. Winter is flying by.

 

weird song, but I appreciate the lyric about venues taking all the bands Merch money

 

How does this dude continue to make the flattest sounding music over and over

 

Man I loved the first album, liked some of the second album, but everything else has just been really not interesting to me.

 

Losing interest in these guys so fast :(

 

Trying not to judge Jesus is Dead by this late night video. Late Night historically has terrible audio and this one is a rough listen, but the song itself isn't bad!

I'm still more hopeful for this album than the last, the singles so far have been solid

 

i really love the last three singles (and modern girl is also good) so i’m anticipating liking this a lot

 

Aside from Modern Girl, the singles have been so boring and uninteresting...maybe they'll make more sense in the context of the album? I dunno

 

My hype going into this one compared with the last one is comically lower haha. Still hopeful though.

I’ve liked all of the songs so far other than Alma mater.
Wish they’d release the lineup for shadow of the city.

Love the opener. Instrumentally it could almost be a National track.

Also I’m glad I didn’t overplay Modern Girl. It’s a REALLY fun song.

Jesus Is Dead is also very good and cheesy.
