The way they play Tiny Moves live, from like 2:50 to the end, is phenomenal and I honestly wish the studio version took off like that
Listening to these is just making me really hope I get the chance to see them next year. This is the first time I haven't seen them shortly after an album release. I feel left out
I saw them both weekends of Coachella and was satisfied with the 4 songs they played from this album. I would have liked to hear Me Before You and Call Me After Midnight but I’m not super dying to see anything else from it
Cool video. You can see how the Dirty Hit creative team is getting involved in the art. I dislike how he’s been treating his vocals for the last two albums, all the reverb makes it harder to hear what he’s saying. It’s the same in this song unfortunately.
I love the Christmas song. I actually am having a second round with this album lately. I think I actually vibe with a lot of these songs better in colder weather.
i've said it before, but so much of his production on this album feels like it's wandering to me - lots of elements that never concretely stick and just feel unmemorable. his first couple albums might have worn their influences on their sleeve, but at least the production is never boring
