The clip sounds fun! Even if it’s not as good as the original record, it’ll be cool to have the new versions.

 

Ugh I wish I was bragging right now that I was at that show, still so bummed I wasn't able to go

 

presenting ‘from the studio to the stage’ – a live album that documents the 2024 tour in real time via a collection of live recordings from the uk, the us, and even shows that haven’t happened yet.

the Terrible Thrills version, by Scarlett Johansson, is pretty chilled out but hopefully that's the closest he gets to it hah

I might be biased because Strange Desire is my favourite Bleachers record, but I really like this subtle version.

it's not bad, but i'm still incredibly skeptical that a whole rework of Strange Desire in this style could work well.

Happy to report that A Stranger Desired is actually really good, phew

 

A Stranger Desired really emphasizes just how strong those songs are. Wow, just a fantastic album (both versions).

 

I don’t like whatever he’s doing with the vocal performance in “I Wanna Get Better,” but that’s the only misstep for me.

 

A Stranger Desired is solid! Definitely reinforces that Strange Desire is my favorite Bleachers album.

Revisiting the newest one today and man, Tiny Moves is such a banger!
