even though it was a one-time thing, Underoath did it too for their Live at Koko album (which also managed to be my first ever Discogs purchase so many years ago)
Does anyone know what face/fees were for SotC? Want to see how badly I am going to get killed on the secondary
Has this been shared yet? Cover of Jesse Malin's "Prisoners of Paradise" from a tribute album out in September that sounds amazing. More on the album: Bruce Springsteen, Bleachers Set for Jesse Malin Tribute Album
Just a stupidly good live band. The new songs, even a couple I wasn’t previously crazy about on the album, translate incredibly well live. I need to get any of my friends who don’t completely hate Jack to see them at least once, they put on such a consistently awesome show.
I find it funny that with all the (incorrect) discourse that all of Jack's production sounds the same, these same people have the new Sabrina Carpenter song on repeat, likely not knowing it's him
Quoting a bunch of people who sounded somewhat interested, I've been collecting the airdrops and tonight was the last show for a few weeks, so if anyone wants these, Jack said that they are free to share with anyone, here you go: Link: Box about half are live recordings and the other half are demos, alt takes, and weird mix things 1. jesus is dead (5.18.24 Live in SLC) 2. dream of mickey mantle / me before you (5.20.24 Live at Red Rocks) 3. we're gonna know each other forever (5.22.24 recorded in omaha) - not a live performance, but rather Jack playing in a hotel room or something 4. gone_now_4am_mix_fan_ONLY_5.23.24_KC_drop 5. nothing is u (5.25.24 recorded in chicago) - not a live performance, another Jack hotel thing 6. i am right on time (5.28.24 Live in Nashville) 7. modern girl (5.29.24 Live in Nashville) 8. how dare you want more (5.31.24 Live in Austin) 9. wake me (6.1.24 Live in Houston) 10. everybody lost somebody + good morning (6.2.24 Live in Dallas) 11. drug free america (full band version) 12. woke up today (demo) 13. chinatown (6.7.24 Live In New Haven) 14. call me after midnight (take two) 15. hey joe (work tape) 16. unknown country (take three) 17. i am right on time (more bartees strange) 18. take_the_sadness_out_of_shadow_of_the_city
He's the problem if their favorite artists are making music with him they think is boring or bad. But if another artist they like makes a song with him they think is good, it's because that artist "rose above" him somehow. Basically, he gets all the blame and none of the credit.
