Two nights ago I got stoned and put this song on. It put me in a trance. Haven't had that happen in a hot minute. I think The National were the last ones to do that me.

Great news. Been really digging all of the songs released so far. I haven't dove into anyone else's discography that's a part of Red Hearse though besides Jack. I should probably fix that.

Lucky for you, Sam has only released 8 songs ever. And they're great.

Ever since Gone Now and his MTV Unplugged appearance I've really fallen for Jack and anything he touches. What a talent.

If anyones interested I found Bleachers' MTV Unplugged on vinyl for $16.70. It doesn't say sold out or anything so I just went and purchased it. Says there were 2500 copies. So, we will see if its actually in stock since I saw the vinyl going for $80 somewhere. It was a record store day release.

Solid release. You Make It Easy is top notch stuff. Already in love with that one.
    Also announced three tourdates:

LA on 9/7, Chicago 9/11, and Brooklyn 9/12. Wish I could make it out to NY for it.

Oh man I was supposed to see Mannequin Pussy that night and was really excited but I don’t think I can miss this cus who knows how often this group will tour.

Also interesting... this must’ve been planned recently because MP was supposed to originally play the venue this is now at, but moved to a bigger one.

Really into the record. Interesting to have someone else sing a full album of melodies that definitely sound like they were written by jack.

I hope they eventually at least do a quick festival circuit run but I’m guessing once Bleachers picks back up there won’t be a whole lot of activity for a while.
