My girlfriend and I are looking to make some new friends and carpool to SOTC from Brooklyn. Anybody here planning to drive down from NYC with a couple open seats in their car?
Drove to Tennessee and back this past week and this album probably got the most plays. Finally sank in for me, love the whole thing.
I don't know if this makes sense at all, but this gives me the same vibe as Aim & Ignite did when I was in the 8th grade walking around on a summer day. What an album
Jack did an AMA on Reddit yesterday. Except he flipped it around and asked people for suggestions on his setlist and what to do with his room after he's done touring it around. Hi it’s Jack Antonoff of Bleachers – Ask Me Anything. • r/Music
For what it's worth, if there's anyone else out there thinking the same thing, it was Bucks Fizz' "The Land of Make Believe" I couldn't remember before:
They were so good in Richmond last week. I think that was my third time seeing them, and other than rolling the crap out of my ankle right before the show it was probably the best I've seen them. Did not disappoint!
Apparently they've been playing Carry On at a few shows? I'm seeing them on Sunday and if they play it then I'm pretty much shutting down for the week.
I don't think it's that weird. It makes the most sense out of any fun. song in my opinion because it fits in best with Bleacher's sound and Jack's guitar playing is the highlight of the song for me.
It worked perfectly IMO. He basically turns it into a sing along with the entire room. The whole show is unsurprisingly amazing though. GET (even more) EXCITED if you're catching them on this tour!!
I won't watch it in case he does do it in on Sunday. I kind of wish I hadn't found out ahead of time because that would have hit me so hard if he just busted it out by surprise. Still amazing I can't wait to hear what he does with it. I think it's really cool that he's doing it, and like I said, if he's doing a fun. song, that's the perfect one.
