Heaven can wait and reds are two massively acclaimed movies and dick Tracy is one of the biggest blank checks to have ever bounced, baby.

 

Honestly think it’s more for the huge failures than the two massive great movies

 

Triple post but I’ve liked the critical darlings pod a lot but the latest episode is a miserable and genuinely weird listen

 

most of my Beatty knowledge is the Dick Tracy stuff especially the weird zoom thing he did to keep the rights (thanks, podcast the ride)

I’ve watched a couple shows on YouTube based on comic book guests and found it entertaining enough. Not enough to watch any more on there, lol, but I’d be tempted to see it live. (It’s at Bottlerocket? That’s a fun space I’ve seen a couple events at.)

You could watch a little online to see if it’s your thing. But also, I need to commit to my “bit” of never meeting you, so if I do decide to go, maybe you shouldn’t.

 

Yeah I’ll check out some clips before I decide. I love bottlerocket so that’s a plus.

I’m gonna start going to every bottlerocket event so I can meet you.

 

The two events I’ve been to there in the past couple years are a showing of the movie Glen or Glenda hosted by the author of a gay Jesus book (which also had a drag performance), and a Sydney Sprague concert. So if either of those happen again, you’ll find me.

Same here. Sometimes Griffin will describe a bit or something they do with a guest and it sounds funny, but I've never enjoyed actually watching it when I've tried.
