They won't be 3.5 hour bangers like this one but this is a show that was able to get great bits out of Jonathan Demme's A Master Builder. A movie made for Wallace Shawn and literally no one else

 

the movies that don't exist are often the best episodes

 

Never saw Drive Away Dolls. Honey Don’t is worse than any of the movies they made together, though.

 

it's better than honey don't but not very good. i remember macbeth being quite good but having zero desire to ever rewatch. although i will next week i guess.

I thought I was going to be in the minority leaving A Serious Man out of the top 5, let alone the top 10.

 

My top 5 is pretty solid. The bottom 5 or so I didn’t really think about too much.

Red hulk talk in November 2025! Feels like Blank Check is 99% the reason that movie retains any space at all in my brain

 

Haven’t see Macbeth and have no desire to, will probably skip this episode

Agreed. This is one of those eps where I think the movie is not good, but it’s a solid conversation starter. And mxmtoon is a great guest. I have no idea how they’re gonna sustain a discussion on “Honey, Don’t.”

 

Haven’t listened yet but if they can do 2.5 on drive away dolls they can do at least 2 on honey don’t.
