An episode I really did not feel the need to watch the movie for to listen to. Maybe one day as a curiosity I’ll check it out but otherwise, this was a great episode
Agreed. Watched it once in college. All I remember is Marlon Wayans being annoying. Episode reinforced that opinion. Had a great time. The Stephen Root theme rules.
I watched it for the first time last week. It’s bad but I had fun. Would easily watch it again over hudsucker and the man who wasn’t there.
Yeah Griffin was going way too hard to act like it was good. I know I didnt watch it but based on what i've heard about it, Griffin saying he chuckled every minute is insane
I do think Griffin is right that if you didn’t know this was the Coens, there’s enough going on here to make you take notice of the direction moreso than your standard studio comedy. The movie still ain’t good tho
i liked her on the mulholland drive episode and she makes good movies/tv but yeah i agree also don’t love the shots at twbb for no reason
Yeah she was weird about TWBB. Not crazy about getting into Star Wars talk here either but I guess its inevitable when you have someone that ran a Disney+ show and the pod's origins
I just didn’t enjoy the overall vibe of the episode maybe not her fault though. Felt like kind of a let down for one of their best films. Also agreed about the star war stuff. I just do not care about all that.
