Watched intolerable cruelty. There’s hints of a good movie in there but it doesn’t come together. Seems like Griffin and Sims loved it so it’ll be an interesting episode.
Intolerable Cruelty was one of the pleasant surprises of this rewatch for me. I'd always kind of written it off as lesser Coens, which, in terms of a ranking, it probably still is. But I had a ton of fun with it. I really love what they unlock in Clooney.
Lol the Fixed episode. Spent some time explaining the context of Sony Pictures Animation making movies for streamers and Genndy's career, and then eventually give up and talk A LOT of fantastic four
I didn't see it and what they talk about is more so how would they fix it structurally and tonally. I didn't feel spoiled but also I don't really care so your milage may vary. But you absolutely do not need to watch Fixed to listen lol
The Ladykillers always gets a few chuckles out of me at the end when everyone is getting tossed onto the barge.
Intolerably Cruelty was good, CZJ is ungodly attractive in it, very funny performances from really everyone watching Ladykillers now (an hour ish in) and it’s really really bad
