yeah the big pic episode was better and half the length

 

Yea i'm disappointed with this one. Kyle Buchanan is the logical guest since he literally wrote the book on Fury Road but getting too hung up on the "what's real vs CGI" or "Fury Road is so much better" debate dragged it down

Secret Handshake's Mad Max episode is better. It's 90min and they cover all the movies including Furiosa

 

yeah i’m sure the book is good but as a pod guest he was insufferable. even most of the stuff that seemed like production “reveals” was stuff you could just get reading imdb or wikipedia

 

I didn’t know about during tests for Fury Road that they read the Furiosa script. And Kat Dennings would have been a wild choice.

Episode was fine, certainly better than the Downsizing Double with Griffin.

 

The “Bad Boys” directors are delightful guests.

 

Good lord, Meet Joe Black is interminable.

 

Never seen “Gigli” and this pod just details every reason why no one should watch it.

 

For 20 years I had assumed “Gigli” was just a bad Bennifer romcom. Boy was I wrong

 

I watched it and wish I could un-watch it.

 

I went into it with an open mind thinking “there’s no way it could be as bad as it’s reputation is”

then Bartha appeared

I have nothing against Alex Ross Perry, but I do find his episodes pretty dry and a bit of a journey to get through.
