lots of talk about a future Mallick mini on this last episode. he’s probably my #1 director they haven’t done yet.
Good ep. Still don’t really like the movie or Woodley’s performance, but I enjoyed hearing their views on both. I will say, watching “Blonde” four time is insane.
Listened to most of the Boy and the Heron episode today and it's spectacular. I haven't seen any of the Streisands yet and only about half of the McTiernans, so I have some homework to do.
I've seen most of the well-regarded McTiernans already. Trying to catch up on the rest. I fell asleep 45 minutes into Medicine Man last night, and I don't feel compelled at all to finish it.
Even though im a long time listener of this show, I have no problem with skipping or turning off movies they are covering that are just not working for me at all. I’ll still listen to the ep regardless
I at least try everything (except for The Love Guru). There haven’t been too many total stinkers since I started listening to new episodes (at the Sellick series). Skipping tons of stuff in the back catalog though while still listening to the episodes. The Weight of Water broke me from trying to actually watch everything.
Griffin was on Patrick Willems' most recent vid and I did the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the screen meme when I realized it was him.
March Madness brackets are up: General 2 — BLANK CHECK Feel like Lynch is going to run away with this, but there are a lot of good options there. Oz/Henson would be a ton of fun.
The VOD from the live show last night isn't coming for another couple weeks, but you had to buy the VOD ticket before the show? I figured I could wait to buy until the video was actually available, shit.
Producer Ben commented on Reddit that this was not intentional and they contacted the venue to get the link back up
Kinda bummed Apatow is getting blown out. Think that’d be a really interesting miniseries and different from most of the ones they’ve done before
