There are so many potential great minis that can come out of this bracket. I'm overwhelmed. Bluth is one I've always wanted simply because of what an all timer of an episode Titan A.E. would be. It's part of the death of 2D animation in America and closed a studio down
Feel like Early Spielberg or Kubrick is gonna run away with it, but I’m riding hard for Preston Sturges!
Depending on his mood, he can be a bit overbearing. He was on this week's "Scott Hasn't Seen" and basically took over the entire show. I love him and think he's often funny and insightful, but benefits from in-person records where he's not taking over the conversation.

I’ve somehow never seen Army of Darkness even though I’ve seen Evil Dead 1 and 2 and two seasons of Ash Vs. Evil Dead
Watched Crimewave last night and… it’s one of the most unpleasant things I’ve ever watched that somehow kinda won me over by the end?
For me: The Power of the Dog The Piano In The Cut Bright Star Sweetie An Angel At My Table The Portrait of a Lady Holy Smoke Two Friends
I've loved the balance of the more serious attention to history and context on the last couple minis (the dossier works wonders!) without sacrificing goofiness and charm... but I'm still dreading that they're going to have trouble talking about some of these older filmographies if they win March Madness. Welles and Lean and Lang deserve so much better than bit fodder and I'm nervous. Probably unfairly so! They've surprised me before! But we'll see.
