I think they’ve said future MCU phases would be covered as their own franchises

 

It’s wild to me that from July to July, there are SEVEN MCU movies coming out.

 

They had nothing come out at all in 2020 so it makes sense

 

For sure, but it's still A LOT

 

not to mention all the Disney+ shows that are still coming: Loki, What If, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, etc.

 

Hayes and Sean implied pretty heavily recently that they’ll be on the pod in the future, I have to imagine it’s during Singleton.

Definitely possible, but also seems possible they could switch it with Ant Man 3 or Cap Marvel 2

 

Yeah depends on what gets going first. Of those three I’d bet on Ant-Man coming first tbh

I forgot this movie existed and the several trailers I saw in cinema until this moment...jeez what a thing that was...

 

I remember my co-worker seeing it at SXSW back when it was still “Don Jon’s Addiction” and how he thought it was amazing. I think he had a bad case of festival brain, where everything is great because there’s celebrities and free swag.

She clearly didn't listen to the podcast because the tone of the conversation wasn't "all this stuff is true", it was "this is what was said at the time and we don't know how much of it is true or not because a lot of it was probably misinformation spread by the studio and the press at the time"

 

Also someone in the Blankies Discord said this and I definitely agree: "Treating any discussion of art like it must be scholarly is its own form of elitism, and it is also frankly a classist argument. that the subject of the ire are G&D, two people with a platform, makes it not feel as much that way, but it is"

Ok, but it’s also 40k/month minus whatever patreon charges, and then split between at least four people.

 

Griff, David, Ben, Marie, Alex, and AJ, so 6 at least

Plus I'm sure they pay for all their guests to rent the movies if they have to, plus the money they spend so that they themselves can watch the movies. That all adds up.
