Cheshire is a fun listen, I may not return to it often but it was definitely a fun young band thing This is just lazy and boring and apparently the band even thinks so if they haven't even played any of the songs live
Oh really? I thought they didn't, I actually do like Parking Lot and Misery a lot. It just bums me out because I never want to return to this and I feel like I like California more than most

Parking lot, misery, last train home, 6/8 are all bangers that I return to when I’m not doing full album listens
I listened to the DLX in full last night. CA is a GREAT record. I was still kinda wowed by how LONG it is (both OG and DLX together) but still a solid listen. The filler tracks are still absolutely stellar and mark’s bass playing is unreal.

Yeah, i was thinking about it while listening to some songs to decide my votes. It's a solid record, it does a great job of revisiting different eras of the band. I guess all the hate the record got from part of the fanbase even made me doubt its quality at times, but it's just a good record. DLX has some meh songs IMO, but it does a good job for a deluxe edition. Still love the fact that they were willing to put all these songs out.
