Asthenia (This has always been one of my favorites on the album. I expect I Miss You to win this matchup, but honestly I'm a bit burnt out on it)

Feeling This (I really hope that Feeling This doesn't win the bracket for this album - it's a good song, but I don't think it's anywhere near their best. In any case, while I likely won't be voting for it many more times, it'd be inauthentic to vote for an interlude track over it)

Here’s Your Letter (This was pretty close to a toss up for me - I'll give this one the slight edge)

Violence (Not Now is good, but this was a fairly easy decision for me)

Obvious (I thought that this was going to be a tougher matchup, but then I listened to both of the songs back-to-back and it was...obvious what to vote for)

I’m Lost Without You (I really love both of these songs...I told @BTDandFeelingThis that some of these matchups are going to be like picking between my kids! In any case, I've loved this song since the first time I heard it and I think it makes for a great closing track)

Stockholm Syndrome (This was tough too - two very different songs! I'll go with this because I really like this style of theirs)

 

I Miss You - Just an absolutely awesome, classic, and iconic song. Definitely some of blink's best work.

Feeling This - This is just pure teen recklessness and angst and sexuality and like? It's just great.

Here’s Your Letter - I just love the guitar tones and bass work here. All of the instruments work together perfectly, and it's definitely one of my favorite Mark songs from blink's pre-hiatus discography.

Not Now - This song is just magical. For all intents and purposes it should've been the last song of the album, after ILWY because that little opening bit sounds like the album coming back to life aftet ILWY died, and then you get those classic Tom octaves, then a crushing rock riff unlike anything blink had done up to that point, then Tom's fucking beautiful verse delivery and those heart-wrenching lyrics over those beautiful verse synths. And that chorus is so massive and infectious and Tom's little root-changing over a D octave is so brilliant and ugh, I love the arrangement of it all.

Easy Target - Just a really cool song, I love the octaves on the Verse and the little "THATS WHAT SHE WANTED" parts.

I’m Lost Without You - This was the hardest decision, but damn, I love this song. The lyrics are just super intimate and personal and the production is great.

Stockholm Syndrome - One of blink's best songs ever. I love how it's driven by so many recurring riffs and hooks, and the fluidity and chaos of Tom's playing, plus all the weird instruments they play with, plus how they switch roles at the bridge so Mark's bass deviates from the guitar and they end up making chords. Plus, TOP-NOTCH lyricism from everyone involved. So much imagery, I really feel the sensation of isolation and frustration whenever I hear this song.

Also, I used to love it, but Asthenia just FEELS like a demo. Idk how to describe it, but it feels disjointed and nowhere near as brilliantly arranged as I Miss You.
