I wouldn’t say it sucks, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as I did as when I was in high school.
Dude Ranch is (in my eyes... or, well, ears) Dude Ranch is Blink's first "good" album. Doesn't touch untitled or even TOYPAJ, but it's pretty listenable, even to this day for me. Which is more than I can say for a lot of these types of albums from this era
I had to relisten to half of this album yesterday because of how generic it is and "Apple Shampoo" practically disappeared from my mind as I was listening to it. "I'm Sorry" ain't no masterpiece, but it's a sight more ambitious and cathartic than the song it's losing to.
Untitled Dude Ranch Enema Nine TOYPAJ California Cheshire Neighborhoods Buddha (I have to officially rank this now huh Mark) DED
Lmao I feel like it sounds so hipster to say, but I just get sick of the singles so much because I love them at first, they're usually the first thing I play because of music videos, and then I just hear them so often that I get tired of 'em. Still a rad song though
I felt that way about "Josie" for a long time, but in the last couple years it's gained a new life for me, for some reason, and now it's one of my top 5 faves off of Dude Ranch, and definitely top 5 Blink singles.
This late in the day I’ll let it ride. Plus as it stands now we’ll have EOTS start on Monday and that’s a good way to begin the week
