Very obscure old unreleased song. I didn’t even know about it until @bradsonemanband told me when I was making this album. I think it’s Cheshire era?

 

For anyone who doesn’t know “Good Times”, here you go! It’s a cover of the theme song from the tv show Good Times. The song was actually recorded around the same time as Dude Ranch. I believe they recorded it to promote the “Good Times Tour” in Australia. I’m not sure where else it might have been released, but I first heard it on a Vagrant Records compilation called Five Years on the Streets back when I was in high school.

 

Still not as long as the Green Day bracket haha

What no one else downloaded all the possible covers, b-sides etc from Kazaa the second they realized they could almost 20 years ago or was it just me?

 

I remember downloading “dancing with myself” from Napster. I also remember downloading “Man Overboard” from Napster before the song was released, but it turned out to actually be a song by The Ataris, and that band became one of my favorite bands ever. Haha.

 

One of my friends gave me a burnt CD of all of blink’s Enema B sides in 2000 and it had the demo of Man Overboard on it. Was pumped when the live CD came out and the studio version was on it.

I do wish Shazam was around back during those Napster days and all the miss labeling that went on.
