You’re right. I’m apparently very bad at this lol. Blame It/Half a Life was supposed to be a second round matchup, not a first.

I suppose that doesn’t really matter though, does it? The generator had those two songs meeting in the second round, so the winner of that matchup (which will just be absent from the second round instead) will just move on to the third round as the bracket has it doing.

I saved the bracket it generated so I should be able to maneuver this one and hopefully not fuck up the third haha

Some really, really tough matchups here. I'll have to think about it a while.

Surely there has to be a better way than to have 3 byes randomly generated? I can't think of one, but maybe we could do some brainstorming for future rounds.

 

I’m not sure there’s a better way, unless we go through an entire process of voting on which songs would get first round byes before actually putting together the bracket, which would take way too long I think.

I’m just using the same system everyone else who runs brackets here has been using.

Same. My main issue with most Bayside fans is,that they want to hear the same songs live over and over when they have such a great catalog of songs. Sadly the band often caters to those fans who want to hear those songs :/

The first three matchups were all pretty easy for me, but that fourth one is rough! I'll give We'll Be O.K. the slight edge.

 

After seeing them a number of times, I feel the same way. Love all the “fan favorites,” but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little burnt out on them. This band could put together such an amazing deep cuts setlist.

I am definitely sick of devotion & desire. I don’t mind bad luck/duality/peanut but I definitely wish they’d rotate more songs in.
