Agreed. A few songs on there are top tier Bayside for me personally, but a good chunk of it would fall in the lower half of their discography. Not a bad record by any stretch of the imagination.

 

yeah Cult is definitely my least favorite Bayside record but in reality it only actually has like a couple of songs on it that I would skip if they came on shuffle.

 

I the only song I really don't like on there is Something's Wrong - and that has a killer intro but then I lose interest immediately after it.

Last two were extremely easy. I really like Bear with Me but Fire is great.

First matchup was the only one I had to think about lol. I like that Objectivist is a cool kind of change of pace sound for them but Bear With Me just does that classic Bayside banger sound so well.

Transitive Property is probably my favorite song on here, but there are 5-6 I enjoy quite a bit.

 

Without a doubt. The outro alone is one of my favorite Bayside moments ever.

I actually really like Cult a lot. There aren’t really a lot of stone cold classics here, but it still feels like they’re “playing the hits” in terms of capturing vibes from all of their previous records in different songs. That said, that means they also weren’t really doing a whole lot to push forward, so I get why putting this out 10 years into their career was boring for a lot of people.

 

This will probably be a very unpopular opinion, but I like Cult better than The Walking Wounded

My favorite part of Cult is cranking my car stereo when Time Has Come comes on. Song really gets me going!
