Side note: I’m happy they continue to stick with the pattern of each cover having the bird logo somewhere on it and having a border around it. I love continuity like that.

 

I think they said they just happened to see the bird on some wallpaper in the Victory Records office, which is kinda funny for how iconic it became.

As people have already said, it's a really tough choice. I admire that Bayside released a piano-only song, so I'll give it my vote based on how unique it is. Both songs rock and deserve to win.

It’s Not a Bad Little War vs. Mona Lisa
Well, I should have been careful what I wished for a few pages back. I hoped that these songs would get favorable draws this round, so naturally they end up paired against one another. I really thought I'd be giving my vote to Mona Lisa until I gave these songs a re-listen, but something about War is hitting me harder at the moment.

Sick, Sick, Sick vs. Sinking and Swimming on Long Island
IMO this is the most under appreciated song on the record. They've played it live a few times, and each time I've seen them play it the crowd has never reacted too well. It's too bad that so many people are missing out on this song.

Never been a huge fan of Mona Lisa, but its not a bad little war is anything but filler. Forgot How much I enjoyed Killing Time after not digging Shudder all that much.

 

I love Mona Lisa. Such a fun song, and the lyrics are great.

As much as I love the title track and totally agree with how it’s doing this round, it makes me sad to see Seeing Sound with zero votes because it’s a fucking great song.

 

Oh woah, I haven’t been in here since Shudder started on Sunday evening but thought for sure if I came back in today I’d be back in time for Killing Time round 1, haha. Oh well.
