Boy (easy - this is one of my favorite Bayside songs) I Think I’ll Be OK (easy - this is one of my favorite Bayside songs) The Ghost of Saint Valentine (easy - this is one of my favorite Bayside songs) What and What Not (the toughest one this round for me because neither of these is among my favorites of theirs - I’ll go with this because I don’t think it overstays its welcome)
I Can't Go On and the Ghost of St. Valentine are probably my two favorite tracks from the album. I can't believe people have such negative feelings about I Can't Go On.
Boy vs. Have Fun Storming the Castle Boy is a great intro to the album and the lyrics resonate a lot with me, but I already said HFSTC was my favorite. No One Understands vs. I Think I’ll Be OK This one's gotten closer over time as the latter has really grown on me. But No One Understands was one of the first few Bayside songs I heard, and I think it's different enough from much of the album (and most of their catalogue, in terms of musical mood), that it takes my vote. Roshambo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) vs. The Ghost of Saint Valentine Toughest matchup here. Roshambo is awesome, but St. Valentine is one of my favorites. The intro is a banger and it just takes off from there, except for the interlude, which is charming to me in itself because for some reason it reminds me of music from the Wii menus. I Can’t Go On vs. What and What Not Not a huge fan of What and What Not. Its just too basic and doesn't really hit me much to be honest. I Can't Go On goes on way too long imo, but besides that I think it's solid.
Boy - 14 Have Fun Storming the Castle - 2 No One Understands - 7 I Think I’ll Be OK - 9 Roshambo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) - 2 The Ghost of Saint Valentine - 14 I Can’t Go On - 9 What and What Not - 7 I’ll leave this round open until 1pm EST.
@Leftandleaving @DerekIsAGooner @disambigujason @Sean Murphy Any of you want to get in on this round before it closes?
I'm all for depressing songs, but this one just seems WAY over the top. I cringe at lyrics like 'deflate the air from both of my lungs' and i absolutely despise the line 'love is crap' and some others in the song 'the forecast calls for fire, flames sound nice today'. It's also way too long and kind of boring.
There isn’t a song on this record (or any Bayside record, really) I really dislike, but I do enjoy some far more than others. If I had to pick my two least favorites, they would be Howard and I Can’t Go On. I will say, however, that I love the bridge in I Can’t Go On, and that it’s BY FAR my favorite part of the song.
That will do it! Final scores: Boy - 14 Have Fun Storming the Castle - 2 No One Understands - 7 I Think I’ll Be OK - 9 Roshambo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) - 2 The Ghost of Saint Valentine - 14 I Can’t Go On - 9 What and What Not - 7

Thanks for the tag, I kinda fell off the band a bit after those first 2 albums but I’m happy to revisit. I think I’ll be ok Ghost
Boy I can’t go on Giving I can’t go on a symbolic vote for making it this far since it is a weird little song, but Ghost will obliterate it. Super surprised boy is losing.
How in the world is Boy losing already, THAT BREAKDOWN! Boy The Ghost of St. Valentine Also, Boy really borrows from this if you guys have never noticed...
Boy (This was tough, but I have to go with this! Its final minute is one of my favorite moments in Bayside’s discography) The Ghost of Saint Valentine (Very easy decision)
Apparently if you express enough disappointment about the way a matchup is going, the tables turn pretty quickly lol
