I wonder if the MCU Blade will take more after the comics or more after the Snipes version. I'd love to see Ali play a mean trumpet.
I've looked up everyone involved with this movie and their credits and I don't know what Lindo is and I feel like it's gonna be something super obvious and I'm going to feel dumb. Don't let me down.
lol his casting was just announced today. His performance in Da 5 Bloods was one of my favorite performances ever.
Oh, I see. Delroy Lindo. While I'm not familiar with his work, I am familiar with how he was supposed to be Dominic Fortune in Marvel's Most Wanted before ABC passed on the pilot and fucked over Agents Of SHIELD. Glad to see he's finally making it into something.
@Penlab Da 5 Bloods is very, very good. Directed by Spike Lee, costarring Chadwick Boseman in one of his final roles, streaming on Netflix. (And, if you’re someone who likes going to the theater, my local Cinemark is playing it next Monday night as part of a Black History Month special, so you could check if it’s playing near you. But if not, again, Netflix.) You’ve got a little time before the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so I’d strongly recommend you slot that somewhere into your viewing schedule.
Rumor is that this will be at least partially set in New Orleans during the 40s, so I think it will feel a bit different.
I thought you meant from the originals rather than from the MCU as a whole and was like... yeah??? a little bit???
“Due to continued shifts in our production schedule, Bassam is no longer moving forward as director of Blade but will remain an executive producer on the film,” I don't think this will affect the shooting date.
keep in mind scott derrickson parlayed to EP when he stepped down from directing doctor strange again
