The original is my favorite sci-fi film ever so I'm stoked to hear the positive feedback on this.

 

I believe the Final Cut is the version on iTunes.

 

Wow this movie is crazy buzzed about

 

I couldn't find it to rent anywhere (tried Amazon Prime and Verizon FIOS and stuff) and eventually I found it on Playstation Network for $4

This was pretty great. Some minor problems (Overpowering score, Jared Leto's character in general), but overall very solid. I liked it a whole lot better than the original.

 

I can't wait to see this. Prob will be going for 2D in Imax not gonna do 3D I think. I'm surprised it's both tbh

How are the visuals? How is Bautista? Is Benedict Wong in the film or only the YouTube short?

Visuals are absolutely stunning. Bautista is good, but not in it a whole lot longer than the trailer suggests. Wong is not in it.

 

I got to see this tonight and holy shit. I can't even put into words how much I loved it. Villeneuve and Deakins together is the greatest, and fuck I was just in awe the entire time.

 

Are the complaints about Leto's character just because it's him? Or would people have been calling him a weak spot no matter who played the role?

 

I feel like the complaints are probably just because of Leto himself. I don't wanna say too much but I don't think his character is enough to warrant complaints.

 

Is this the actual theme? Because it sucks

I ended up getting the Officer K (Gosling) figure. Nice!

 

I didn’t think it was bad. Maybe my expectations were low after reading that you said it was bad.

 

Just a heads up the Wikipedia page has the entire plot synopsis so be careful if you go there. I wanted to check something about the cast and almost had the movie spoiled for me.

I finally saw the original today, I can't believe how well the visuals hold up.

 

Apparently the latest trailer spoils a few things as well. Plenty of things to avoid until the weekend.

 

I have to go wait until Sunday night so I’ll see you guys in a few days.

 

I honestly don't know when I'll get to see this and being at theater where everyone will be watching it is going to be torture.
