Final Cut

 

So hyped. ALMOST as hyped for this as I am for Star Wars. It's close man.

 

My excitement for this has surpassed my hype for Star Wars honestly. I really am expecting great things.

 

Yeah, I still need to see the original. Embarrassed that I haven't yet.

 

How much cyberpunk vibes should I expect from this?

 

If it hasn't been mentioned already, the Final Cut is the definitive version. Make sure you watch that one.

 

With the talent they assembled behind and in front of the camera, I'm not surprised at all it's getting high praise. Villeneuve directing, Fancher writing, Deakins as DP, the cast is great, something really colossal would've had to happen to mess this up. My personal hype is increasing by a lot.

 

Yeah I mean, I will not be surprised if I enjoy this more than any movie in years. I'm just a Star Wars nerd, but honestly Blade Runner is originally what got me into true, hardcore sci-fi. As with many other people I'm sure.

 

The entire thing will be just that.

 

The anime short is incredible. Really hope this becomes the next big thing with the studios, putting out short films to compliment the main material.

 

Also, third post but the Final Cut is a must.

 

I feel like this is going to be my favorite of the year. And I love that it comes out on my birthday.

Completely forgot this was coming out this week. Cannot believe tomorrow we will already be in October.

Also seem to have missed that the run-time was 2 hours and 43 minutes. Exciting.

 

If the music from the trailer matches the soundtrack then this will be worth a buy.

Do studios usually release one or two songs online before the film is released? If I can't hear any samples before the release date of the film then i'll just wait until after I watch the movie to download the soundtrack.

 

Sometimes - I think a track from Dunkirk was released before the film to build up hype but I could be mistaken - and honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they don't release anything. It looks like the official digital release date is the same as the film.

 

Just watched the first one for the first time (the Final Cut because that's the one I saw recommended everywhere) and I fucking loved it. Holy shit, I can't believe I went this long in my life without having seen that movie.

So incredibly hyped for this now
