Oh yeah, no worries :). Also, there was a recent article/some interviews last week in the NYTimes regarding Blade Runner that supposedly has a spoiler in it? I've avoided looking into it, but be careful out there ha
I think it's more the dropping of JJ, than Zimmer being brought on, that's the big new surprising news
Idk the newest trailer made it look a lot more like an action film I'm hoping it's more of a drama and more subtle and mature like the original instead of blockbuster
I stayed away from trailers except for the first one, but then there was the latest trailer before It and it really looked like a straight up action adventure. We’ll see.
I already mentioned it above, but I take every Twitter review with not just a grain, but a handful of salt. Twitter said Rogue One, The Dark Tower, and It were good, amongst others, and I hated two of those and strongly disliked the third. One of those reviews is from a guy who works at Fandango. I’m sorry but it’s his job to say movies are good. I’m still excited, but those reviews mean nothing to me
I hear ya, but Denis is such a better director than those of the movies you mentioned, so that helps.
I never trust these really early reviews. It's usually critics that are riding super high on getting to see a movie weeks ahead of everyone else. Like, I still haven't forgotten all the critics that lost their shit last year when they got to see "Blair Witch" the night it was revealed that it wasn't "The Woods" and how scary they said it was.
The anime short film just dropped. About to sink my teeth into this. Scored by FlyLo. EDIT: Last one got taken down for copyright. This one will likely get taken down as well. EDIT2: WB put it up on their channel.
So uh... wow. This early buzz is STRONG. The early reviews of Blade Runner 2049 are overwhelmingly positive
Just bought tix for next Thurs, and Fandango gave me a free Funko Pop. Still had to pay shipping, though.
Review embargo lifts tomorrow morning now (6 AM PST). Probably gonna try to see the general consensus without reading much, or any, full reviews. Don’t wanna be spoiled.
Initial reviews are mostly glowing. I will definitely say be wary of reading too much, I got a little too curious with reviews and had a couple plot points spoiled.
