I still think it’s one of the best sequels to hit the screens.

 

One of my favorite IMAX experiences.

 

Damn I thought it was gonna be a more traditional anime when it was announced.

 

I figured it would be more in the style of Black Out 2022.

Yeaaaah was definitely hoping for an anime style. Disappointed.

Yeah I have no interest in that now, even beyond the ugly CG it doesn't feel like Blade Runner at all

 

CGI anime just doesn’t feel right imo. I watched that remake of the first Pokémon movie they did in CGI and I honestly wasn’t really that impressed.

A show about the BR world would be cool but with Ridley, I dunno about that.

as long as it vibes like the movies at all

 

Personally, I'd prefer Villeneuve over Scott, but I'm interested to see what it's all about.

 

Hopefully they think to include a Japanese actor or two in the main cast this time, assuming they’re still gonna have that influence in the aesthetic.

 

As someone who didn't care for the original, i absolutely adored this movie. Still bummed i didn't get to see it in theaters.

Cautiously optimistic for a tv series
