2049 is in my top 20 for the decade.

 

It’s not one of the best of the decade no matter how you spell it.

 

It’s top 10 or 20 for its’ year but I wouldn’t put it on any decade list unless it was like 50 or 100 movies or something

Lol my bad. I’ve been working on a Sino-British Declaration paper and 2047 has been on my mind.

 

It'd probably be in my top 10 of the decade. If we're judging off aesthetic and cinematography alone, it's a lock.

 

It’s definitely a best of the decade. It’s the rare sequel that surpasses the original, one of the most beautiful sci-fi films ever made. It has flaws, yeah, but to say it’s not good enough to be on a best of list is just silly.

 

I think top 10 decade, top 25 from 2000 on for sure.

It's essentially the perfect sci-fi film for me.

 

I've seen people making Best of the Decade lists and I don't know how anyone even could, honestly. There's so many to go through and pick from. There's been some amazing films that have come out in the last ten years. I tried picking a top four earlier this week and that was an almost impossible task and I don't even know if I'm 100% happy with what I went with.

tl;dr I don't know if this would actually make my top ten but it's definitely up there for me and is certainly worthy of being in anyone's top ten.

My top four were The Master, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Moonlight. No particular order except for The Master is without question the best film of the decade in my opinion.

 

I didn't start keeping track of movies I watched every year until 2015, so I'd have to really take a good look to see what my list would be.
