Caught this in theaters last night. I've seen this like eight times prior but I wanted to catch this on the big screen at least once more. I am fulfilled
It's visually stunning with great performances and music, but I didn't feel any emotional connection with it, so it hasn't really stuck with me. Still great overall, though.
More info coming out about the 2019 sequel comic. Looks fantastic. https://io9.gizmodo.com/meet-the-new-replicant-hunter-in-titan-comics-blade-run-1833293030
I’m going to show one of my college friends the first film today. I’m thinking Director’s Cut. Which version would you people go for?
Saw the Final Cut on the big screen about a month ago and it was awesome. There was a guy who gave a pre-movie discussion about android consciousness and he also revealed whether or not Deckard's a replicant (there were many people who were seeing this for the first time). Thank fuck I was already familiar
I will say though, watching at least some of the original theatrical cut is worthwhile if only because of how funny Harrison Ford’s bad voiceovers are.
The only 2 movies I’ve bought in the last few years are this and Spiderverse and I’m p happy about that
