Not even that, this one was literally just “Mahershala Ali is gonna be Blade!!! No further questions!!!”

it’s almost a year and a half later and this is the first actual sign this is moving towards being a real thing?

 

Having Ali call you and show interest in a leading role is pretty much a wish come true for any franchise.
